God is wisdom

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and Instruction. — Proverbs 1,7

Everything hangs on this verse in Proverbs because God is wisdom. We can become wise when we listen to and follow God’s word. We want to walk down the path of wisdom, which requires a lifelong process of allowing God’s word to change us. God gives us his wisdom through his word in the Bible and through our life experiences. We can ask God for wisdom, and he will answer us. Everyone is invited to spend time in the Bible this week to read God’s word and practice applying it to their life. We want to become wiser together for God’s glory.
